You'll want to worry about your diet more than doing crunches (not to say you shouldn't worry about doing crunches).

Eat smaller meals more frequently to keep your metabolism boosted. Carbs in the morning/afternoon and protein at night. Stay away from high glycemic foods (white rice, white bread...pretty much anything that is white) as they cause calories to enter the bloodstream quicker. Unless you burn them off quick they'll just be stored as fat.

For ab exercises, the best type are the hanging (lower, obliques) and weighted (upper).

Hanging - Grab on to a pullup bar and hang there. Slowly pull your knees up to your chest. Hold the contraction for a count to 2 then slowly go back down. Concentrate as hard as you can on using your abs and visualize them pulling and tightening to pull your legs up. Don't swing or use any other muscle other than your abs. You'll want to start out at 10 and work up to 20. Worry about your form a million times more than how many you are doing. To get the sides just turn your legs to the side and pull up using your obliques in the same manner.

For weighted upper abs you'll want to use the rope attachment on the cables. Kneel on the ground and grab the rope from behind your neck. Again, go slow and visualize your abs doing all of the work. Hold each rep for a count of 2 and GO SLOW!

You should be doing a MAX of 20 reps and about 2-3 sets for any ab exercise. Any more reps/sets is just wasted energy.

You should be doing abs about twice a week and not everyday. For some reason, everyone thinks it's best to work abs out every day. It is closer to the digestive system and can absorb nutrients faster, but it's still a muscle. It needs rest and time to rebuild and repair.

Good luck!! =)

You'll need to do specific crunches for each area of the abs. Do them to fatigue - when you just can't do anymore! Do some cardio everyday and watch what you eat. Stay away from sugar, carbs and alcohol. It can be done.
Good luck

Well First of all you have to stop eating Bread and sugar. Crunches as many as you can until you fell soar. But not only crunches. Ruining helps to , twisting your body with dumbbells. Do a T-stand, check out Pilatie's they work quite well on areas as abs, butt, tights and hips.
Good luck.

The carbs are usually listed on the side of most food packaging, so you really don't need an Atkins logo to tell you this. A bit of common sense goes a long way as well. If it contains pasta, bread, beans, potatoes or rice, then chances are it is high in carbs.

You don't have to go online or to a specialty store. Just go to your regular super market and be a discriminate shopper.

I make my own BBQ sauce. I use a can of tomato sauce, no added salt and put in the spices. Onion, garlic, chili powder, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, a bit of molasses and a lot brown sugar. I would put vinegar, but I do not care for it, I also do not like liquid smoke.
You could also substitute some of the sweetness with splenda to save calories. When you make your own, you have control over the sweetness.
Some people use ketsup for the base because of the already there sugar content, but I like my own.

Use just 1/2 cup of the sauce, not the whole bottle. When the meat is cooked, it will naturally release it's own juices to keep things moist. Once the meat is cooked, taste for seasoning. If need be, add a little more fresh bbq sauce or some component that makes a bbq sauce; i.e. paprika, a little fresh ground pepper, a few drops of vinegar, a squirt of ketchup etc. to give back a bit of "bite". Or offer the bbq sauce as a condiment for anyone who wants more of that flavour in their sandwich.

Cheers & hope these thoughts helped!

Just stir in the bbq sauce until the meat is as moist as you like it to be. You don't have to use the whole bottle but depending on how much pork you have cooked, you might find it will take that much to make the meat hold together so you can make a proper sandwich.
